Who owns the copyright to this FAQ?
Most of the material on this FAQ were taken from public domain sources. Except for those materials and those parts contributed by other people, this FAQ is copyright (C) 2007 by Vincent Isles. The compilation itself is copyright (C) 2007 by Vincent Isles. Except for normal fair-use policies in your jurisdiction, no part of this document except for any material herein that belongs to the public domain may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means without prior permission (either through email or snail mail) from Vincent Isles.
That said, you can post a copy of this FAQ in your blog or web site as long as you fulfill these two conditions:
- You inform me through email or snail mail in advance, and I approve of your posting a copy of the FAQ in your blog or web site. Don't worry; I have very liberal terms on which sites and individuals I will allow to use this FAQ. Generally, if you are not a Tagalista or you are not clearly identified with the Evil Camp (TM) (see below) I will give you permission in a day or two.
- You post the FAQ in its entirety, without modification, and with a clear link to where the latest version can be obtained. (If you don't modify the FAQ, you automatically fulfill the third condition.)
These copyright terms are necessary to avoid the (improper) use of the FAQ by those in the Evil Camp (TM).
